Why I built it

My name is Peyton. My family runs a small freight brokerage. When the Supreme Court handed down Montgomery v. Caribe Transport in May 2026, I looked at how we were qualifying carriers and realized we had nothing systematic to show for it. We knew our carriers — good relationships, years of history — but knowing isn't the same as being able to prove it. A liability claim doesn't care about institutional memory.

What it does

I built Torevez to solve that one problem: run the checks on a carrier, return a clear verdict, and generate a locked audit PDF that records the decision, the timestamp, and who authorized it. It's built for the broker who handles compliance themselves — without a dedicated team, without a compliance coordinator, without a carrier relations department. Just someone who places loads, vets carriers, and needs a reliable paper trail if the worst happens.

How this works with me

I run this directly. If you have a question, you email me and I answer it. If something isn't working, I fix it. There is no support ticket system, no escalation path, no tier-one team. You're talking to the person who wrote the code — and who uses the product in the same brokerage context you do.

Founding-cohort customers get that access permanently, at a rate that never increases. I think that's the right way to build something like this, at least at this stage, and I'm not in a hurry to change it.
